What they’re saying.

“Vendors on both sides are increasingly beta-testing tools with their well-funded clients and then releasing them to the down-ballot masses.

In the case of WPAi, the Republican data and research firm has made its Bonfire platform available to its entire roster after beta-testing it with its well-heeled clients who purchase custom models.

The platform, which competes with i360, enables clients wanting to pull walk sheets, call sheets or target digital ads to visualize, manipulate and segment data — either from the in-house "Data Dictionary" that the firm regularly updates or from their own custom models. WPAi wants the platform to eventually be completely automated, eliminating the need for a client to interact with a staff person when they need a new data set, or help understanding a custom model they purchased. "Campaigns need quick and efficient access to their data in order to make game-time decisions, whether at 3 p.m. or 3 a.m.," said WPAi’s Chris Wilson.”
